The world of computers is full of so many cool things that it would be unfair on my part to not release another edition of Kool Stuff! Voila, mes amis!

Computer Prank

Haven't you sometimes wished that you could get back at your friend for not coming to your house on your birthday? Well, if that's the case, then this neat little trick will cause your friend's PC to open 200 windows of Command Prompt which is sure to leave him/her grumbling for atleast an hour!

1.) Go to Start - All Programs - Accessories - Notepad. This will open the Notepad.

2.) Type the words "start start start start start ". Copy and paste them until you get 200 words of "start". This is the much easier alternative to typing "start" 200 times.

3.) Save the file as "200.bat". Instead of "200", you could write any name of your choice as long as it ends with ".bat". This will create a file with an icon which looks like a gear.

4.) For testing, whether or not it works, double-click it! This would cause the PC to freeze for a few seconds and then open 200 command prompts! Once it finishes loading, just right-click on the group and select "Close group".

5.) But then, the big question remains - how will you get your friend to open it by him/herself? To solve this problem, hide the original file in another folder and send a shortcut to the desktop.

6.) Right-click the shortcut and select "Properties". Click the "Change Icon" button and change the icon to whatever you want the icon to look like.

7.) Rename the shortcut to My Documents or Internet Explorer or anything as long as the name matches the icon. Enjoy!

If you have any problems with the prank, you are most welcome to e-mail or blog them to me.

Caution - Do this prank at entirely your own risk.
